How to do a ytw raises

Lying face down, raise your arms into a Y, then a T, then a W — a brilliant fix for posture and the small muscles around your upper back.

How to do it

  1. 1Lie face down, lift your chest slightly
  2. 2Raise your arms into a Y, lower, then a T, then a W
  3. 3Squeeze your shoulder blades on each, thumbs up

Common mistakes

  • ×Shrugging your shoulders up to your ears
  • ×Cranking your neck to look up
